During your summer excursions, you can make a march to the highest mountain of Greece, the legendary Olympus. The twelve gods lived in the canyons, "the folds of Mount Olympus" as Homer calls them - where their palaces were, while the Pantheon (Mytikas, the highest peak of the mountain) was their meeting point. Its vast mountainous mass overwhelms the boundaries of Macedonia and Thessaly, with a mountain range of high peaks and deep ravines, where an area of particular biodiversity extends.

Since 1938, it has been declared as a National Park and in 1981 it was designated by Unesco as a "Conservable Ecosystem of the World Biosphere". Olympus and is "famous" peak  Mytikas has been for many years  a pole of attraction for mountaineers, nature lovers, but also for anyone who wants to come in contact with the mysterious charm of the mountain and visit the hospitable villages of the area. The approach of Mount Olympus peak is extremely difficult and requires special knowledge and experience in climbing, as well as the necessary equipment.
